Don't miss our 8th Potato Day

Saturday 3rd February at 10 AM - 2:30 PM (not 10th Febas advertised in some places). Down to Earth write: A variety of seed potatoes will be sold in Merrywalks Shopping Centre following the success of previous years. Please let us know if you are able to help with selling seed potatoes, either the whole day or part, setting up or taking down at the beginning and ends of the day. See Facebook page here.

Please do let us know if you have any particular preference for a variety of potato and if you want a larger order. These can be put aside for you. We buy from Dundry Nurseries so their website will give the list of varieties on offer and we charge the same price as they do. http://www.dundrynurseries.co.uk/list.asp

The Down to Earth Community Seed Saving Group will be distributing another successful harvest of seed through January and into the spring at the Farmer’s Market and on Potato Day. A little reminder of the joy of the next season of growing after the winter!
